Snow-capped peaks in British Columbia — the high country above the treeline, rock and permanent snow, the view looking across a range of summits receding into the distance. This coloured pencil landscape captures the specific quality of the high BC mountains: harder and more glaciated than the Rockies near Banff, the rock darker, the scale even more uncompromising.
Glen made working trips to British Columbia across his career, and the mountain landscapes he produced there have a different character from his Alberta Rockies work — rougher, more elemental, the human absence more complete.

Choose one of three edge finishes. A mirrored wrap gives the impression that the work continues around the edge of the canvas. A white edge offers a traditional, untouched finish, and a black edge frames the work with a quiet accent, almost like a shadow.
