Three baby cottontails pressed together in a grass nest — the graphite rendering so precise that you can count the individual blades of dried grass supporting them. The wildflower above them, a small daisy, is barely sketched in; the focus is entirely on the three small bodies, each one differently positioned, each one rendered with complete anatomical accuracy. This is Glen's graphite at its most patient.
Drawing was always the foundation of Glen's practice, and this study shows why: the control required to render the fine downy fur of newborn rabbits with pencil alone — without any of watercolour's forgiving properties — is extraordinary.

Choose one of three edge finishes. A mirrored wrap gives the impression that the work continues around the edge of the canvas. A white edge offers a traditional, untouched finish, and a black edge frames the work with a quiet accent, almost like a shadow.
