Over six decades, Glen Loates' original watercolours and drawings found homes across Canada and beyond. Many are now held by families who received them as gifts, inherited them, or acquired them long ago.
The Loates family is building a permanent record of where these works are today. If you own an original, we would be grateful to hear from you.
What we ask
The title if known, the medium and approximate size, how the work came to you, and a photograph of the front and back.
What it means
Your work is recorded in the family archive alongside Glen's own papers. Your name and location are never published, and nothing is shared without your permission. This is an archive record only; the gallery does not provide authentication certificates or valuations.
Should you ever decide to part with your work, the family would welcome hearing from you first.
How to register
You'll sign in with your email address first. We'll email you a 6-digit code, with no password needed, and then bring you straight to the registration form.
With gratitude,
Michael Loates, Owner
