A spring woodland scene — the first wildflowers of the Ontario season emerging through the leaf litter, the light filtering through bare branches above, the whole composition breathing with the specific quality of early May in a mixed hardwood forest. This is the season Glen observed most closely across his career: the brief window when Trilliums, Trout Lilies, Hepatica, and Spring Beauty all bloom together before the canopy closes.
Glen's spring wildflower compositions are among his most joyful works — the combination of botanical precision and emotional warmth that comes from painting a subject he loved at the season he loved it. This spring forest composition is one of his most beloved and personally invested works.
Each bag is made to order to gallery standards, sturdy enough for everyday use and built to carry the conversation wherever you go.
