This is the natural world without sentimentality. A Bengal tiger — every stripe and muscle in motion — brings down a Chital deer in long grass. The graphite work here is among Glen's most technically demanding: the tiger's anatomy is rendered with the accuracy of someone who has studied big cat specimens closely, while the composition carries a raw kinetic charge that static wildlife art rarely achieves.
Glen was drawn to the difficult subjects — the hunt, the predator at full extension, the moment wildlife photography struggles to capture with clarity. His graphite drawing practice, rooted in years of anatomical study at the Royal Ontario Museum, gave him the draftsmanship to commit these scenes to paper with confidence. Signed and dated 1983.

Choose one of three edge finishes. A mirrored wrap gives the impression that the work continues around the edge of the canvas. A white edge offers a traditional, untouched finish, and a black edge frames the work with a quiet accent, almost like a shadow.
