# Summer Day — Giclée on Paper

A gambrel-roofed barn of weathered vertical boards anchors the left of this quiet farm scene, its stone foundation and rail fence drawn with patient care. Beyond it, a stone farmhouse sits half hidden among leafy trees, while two horses graze on the sunlit slope. Glen drew it in pencil in 1971.

Look closely at the horse in the middle ground, where soft tonal shading gives the coat its gentle weight, and at the shadow the barn lays across the grass. Near the farmhouse, the darker horse and the layered foliage reward a slower look. The untouched paper lets the light of a still summer day come through.
