# After the Storm in Temagami — Giclée on Paper

The storm has passed. Shield rock catches the last grey light, black spruce stand wet and still, and the particular quiet that follows a Temagami summer storm settles across the landscape. Glen made this piece in coloured pencil — his chosen medium for the northern landscapes he returned to year after year — capturing the way the Canadian Shield holds colour differently after rain.

Temagami was one of Glen's touchstones. He made extended field trips there across his career, sketching from the lake, from floatplanes, from rocky outcroppings above the tree line. The intimacy of this composition — the close, steep view of the cliffside and forest — tells you exactly how close to the rock he was sitting when he made it. Glen Loates is a member of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts; his landscape work is collected alongside his celebrated wildlife paintings worldwide.

Produced as a museum-quality giclée on archival, acid-free paper using fade-resistant inks. A 1" white border surrounds the image, ready for the framer of your choice.
